Dear Lafayette Community:
We write to update you on the work of the Presidential Oversight Committee on Sexual Misconduct (POCSM). Throughout the spring 2019 semester and over the summer, POCSM members have met to work on proposed revisions to the college’s policies and procedures on sexual harassment and sexual misconduct.
We are writing to invite you to an open meeting to discuss the proposed revisions to Lafayette’s Policy on Sexual and Gender-based Harassment and Other Prohibited Conduct, Lafayette’s Policy on Sexual Misconduct, and procedures for students accused of violating the above policies. The Committee’s goals in proposing these revisions are to accurately and transparently communicate the College’s expectations and processes related to these areas. Full copies of the draft policies will be available at the meetings for those who would like to review them.
The open meetings will be held on:
Thursday, Sept. 5th at 4 pm and
Friday, Sept. 6th at 12 pm.
Both meetings will be held in: OCGE room #107. We hope that you will attend to take part in this important process.
